Recommendation for Banbury and surrounding areas boundary review - BAN
The second stage consultation letter gives details of the results of the stage one consultation.
The consultation questions were updated on 2 August 2022. The new consultation letter gives details of the revised questions, and includes an updated map 1 to clarify which properties may be affected by a boundary change.
The revised recommendations are:
- That the properties on Blackwell Drive are consulted on the possibility of a boundary change so that area F1 on revised map 1 moves out of Bodicote and becomes part of Banbury. The location of the potential new boundary would follow the line of the planning application site, with the existing allotment gardens, cricket ground and recreation ground remaining in Bodicote Parish.
- That residents in Merlin Close, area F2 on map 1, be consulted on the possibility of a boundary change that would mean they become part of Banbury.
- That the two properties in Longford Park that still appear as part of Bodicote, area F on map 2, are officially moved into Banbury, as they are already shown as part of Banbury for electoral register and council tax purposes, and this would formalise the existing situation.
The final recommendation remains unchanged:
- That the boundary between Bodicote and Banbury be altered so that area E on map 2 moves out of Bodicote and becomes part of Banbury.
Updated blank reply slips are available to download and print if you would like to reply in writing, alternatively you can reply electronically using this updated online survey.
